The Riedel Veloce Syrah/Shiraz glass brings out the dark fruit, pepper and spice of Syrah and Shiraz. It is machine-made at Riedel's factory in Weiden, Germany, with a hair-thin stem and a wide, stable base that give it the balance of a hand-made glass.
The Veloce Difference: With a lighter and finer profile than any previous machine-made glass, Veloce offers a "barely there" feel that brings you closer to the wine.
Why this shape works: This large bowl is balanced by a slightly tapered opening. It develops intense aromas and demonstrates mouth-filling fruit and dignified structure. It is perfect for balancing the spicy, peppery notes and gripping tannins typical of Syrah and Shiraz.
