Riedel Performance Champagne
Description
An egg-shaped glass that outperforms the traditional flute. Allows complex layers of Champagne to grow and intensify.
Additional Details
The Riedel Performance Champagne glass shows off the aroma and fine bubbles of Champagne and Méthode Cap Classique (MCC). It is made from fine crystal with Riedel's signature light optic bowl, which increases the inner surface area to lift aroma and flavour. Lightweight, durable and dishwasher safe.
The Performance Difference: Unlike a narrow flute, this egg-shaped design allows the wide range of aromatics in Champagne to unfold. It includes a specific 'sparkling point' to aid the formation of bubbles.
Why this shape works: The larger rim diameter enables aromas to be released in a way that is impossible with a narrow glass. It is perfect for light, fresh, dry Champagnes and Proseccos, intensifying the complex layers of the wine.
Sold as a pack of 2 glasses. Genuine Riedel, supplied in South Africa by Vine Vibe. Delivery is calculated at checkout.
